Get involved

Help build Ohio's next generation of innovators.

There is a role for everyone in the NextGEN STEM pathway. Choose the one that fits you.

Sponsors and funders

Invest where the pipeline starts.

Your support puts hands-on STEM, women role models, and real career pathways in front of Ohio students who would not otherwise have them. Every sponsorship is tied to measured outcomes.

Sponsor a classroom cohort

Fund a full cohort of girls in Girls of Tomorrow or STEM Explorers, including curriculum, kits, books, and facilitator training.

Underwrite a program launch

Help bring STEM Rebels online or expand STEM Vanguard Institute to new students.

Sponsor Ohio Tech Day

Put your company in front of hundreds of students in Cleveland and Dayton as a presenting or supporting sponsor.

Give in kind

Donate STEM kits, devices, venue space, or employee volunteer time.

Schools and community sites

Bring NextGEN STEM to your students.

We partner with schools, districts, and community organizations to deliver programs during the school day or out of school time.

What we provide

Curriculum, hands-on kits, books, trained facilitators, and pre and post assessments, with a results summary at the end. [Confirm what is included for each program]

What we ask of you

A consistent space and schedule, a site contact, and help with enrollment and steady attendance, which our evaluations show matters most.

Programs you can host

Girls of Tomorrow (K-2), STEM Explorers (3-5), STEM Rebels (6-8), and STEM Vanguard Institute (9-12). Host one, or the full pathway.

Ohio Tech Day

Bring a group of students to our annual day of STEM career exploration.

STEM professionals

Show students who they can become.

Girls in our programs see women in STEM in every session. Volunteers make that possible, and every role comes with training and support.

Lead a session

Women in STEM facilitate Girls of Tomorrow lessons after a half-day training, using ready-made lesson plans and pre-packed kits.

Mentor older students

Coach STEM Rebels or STEM Vanguard Institute students through projects, capstones, and career planning.

Speak or host a visit

Share your career path in a classroom, a virtual session, or a site visit to your workplace.

Exhibit at Ohio Tech Day

Bring a hands-on demo and talk with students about your work.

Families

Find a program for your child.

NextGEN STEM programs run through partner schools and community sites. Join our list and we will let you know when there is a program near you.

Ask your school

If your child's school is a partner, programs are offered right there during the school day or after school.

Join our mailing list
