STEM Rebels
Where middle schoolers stop learning about technology and start building it.
The program
About STEM Rebels
Middle school is when girls' interest in STEM drops most sharply. STEM Rebels adapts the proven Girls of Tomorrow approach (storytelling, hands-on challenges, women mentors, and capstone projects) for online delivery, so girls can take part wherever they live and whatever their school offers. Hands-on project kits ship directly to each participant.
Four deep tech tracks
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Microelectronics, semiconductors, and chip design
- Cybersecurity and digital citizenship
- Sustainable technology and climate solutions
- Capstone: an original deep tech prototype with a video pitch
How it works
Inside every session.
Women on screen
Video lessons feature women working in AI, semiconductors, cybersecurity, and climate tech.
Live mentorship
Small-group video sessions with industry mentors and college students.
Build at home
Project kits ship to each girl so she builds, not just watches.
Tell the story
Girls produce a video presentation of their final project.
